Speech-Language Pathologist

Laura completed her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology at UBC and has experience working with children 0-18 years old in private and public healthcare settings, as well as with adults in acute care settings. Laura is looking forward to working with preschool and school-aged children with language delays and disorders, speech sound delays and disorders, social communication disorders and fluency disorders. Laura currently also works at a public health unit with children aged 0-5 years old and as a result is unable to accepted children in this age range that live in Vancouver.
 
Laura values creating therapy sessions that are warm and compassionate and where her clients and families feel heard and supported. Laura also loves making sessions fun so that my clients will look forward to coming! Laura values a family-centered approach and creating therapy goals that are functional and will help her clients become more successful communicators.
 
Laura is registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC and is a member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada.

In her free time, Laura enjoys running, swimming, cooking and am a big fan of the Korean group BTS 💜.
